Your Superpower!

“You always have a choice.” Sounds easy enough, right? But for some of us it is daunting to know that we have choices to make.

Will it be the right choice?

What if it’s not, what will happen then?

Or even worse…"I don't have a choice."

The harsh truth...

You might be missing the point... your power actually resides in having the ability to make a choice and not in what that choice may lead to.

Yes, your choice may lead you down the wrong path… but isn’t that how you learn and grow as a human being?

Guess what? That's actually your superpower... the power of choice.

Many of us ignore this superpower.

How often do you hear yourself say the following?

The “have to’s,” “need to’s,” and “shoulds?” All of which can bring the greatest stress.

“When you cannot make up your mind which of two evenly balanced courses of action you should take, choose the bolder.” – William Joseph Slim

You can choose to learn how to love yourself by breaking the barriers around love.

You can choose to heal.

You can choose to live a different life.

You can choose success.

You can learn from the so-called bad choices, and develop the skills and the power to make better choices thereafter.

Every moment in every day you have the ability to use your superpower.

For example, you choose to get out of bed in the morning to start your day, some days, you are not in a good mood and don’t want to go to work, or face whatever is in front of you.

But you do it anyway. You drag yourself around town, without realizing that you chose to feel bad the entire day.

What if…

What if you could choose to feel different in the morning?

What if you were excited about what was to come that day?

What if you chose to love the parts of you that mattered most?

What if you chose to let go of the past; instead learned to heal parts of you that should no longer govern your life?

What if you stopped blaming yourself for some of the "bad" choices?

What if you start telling yourself a different story?

The choice is yours, my darling. You can absolutely do all of that. It’s a matter of taking the appropriate steps and choosing yourself for once in your life.

Choose to elevate.

“And we have complete control over our own attitude. We are the ones we decide how we feel, how we look at things, how we react.” – Catherine Pulsifer

You are love. With all my love,
